If you break the rules, you will be “caught” and every choice that we make will have a consequence. Always play by God’s rules.

 If you are accused of being a fake, deflate that accusation by a lifestyle that shows you to be the person that God has called you to be. No fakes.

Read the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew chapters 5-7.  You will find there the best emotional support that is available, and you can receive that comfort whatever your circumstances or wherever you go in life.

Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

God has a purpose for every person. Fulfilling God’s purpose is the best record we can work toward—and it has eternal consequences when we fulfill it.

What can you do today to make God’s presence felt in every situation that you encounter?

Trust Him. He is always faithful. His promises are always true. In Jesus, you find truth and trust.

Why am I surprised when prayers are answered? God can do miracles. If you pray for rain today, carry an umbrella! 

Today, would you be more concerned about who is going to be on top, or who will take a towel and serve. The choice is yours.

But there is a remedy for sin, and that is confessing to God, believing in His Son, and living for Him the rest of your life. Be thankful you are not that patient on the table, or the nurse, or the doctor.

If you are impersonating being a Christian or a good person, give up the impersonation—be a real live witness for God’s grace and purpose.

 Jesus said if you store up your riches in Heaven, you don’t worry about thieves and rust and wealth. Kingdom commitments will always win.

I hope your behavior will be something that will make your name a positive influence in society.

Remember, every choice has a consequence. Good choices produce good consequences!

The most important thing is that you are the person that God created you to be.

I hope that when you come to the end of your life, your ending will be that you have followed God’s plan for your life and know that you will live with him for eternity.

 Doing a good inventory of what you take in will express itself and leave a positive or negative way in the future. Let God help direct what you consume.

We need to get to work on the really important things involving our relationships with God and each other rather than participating in some rumor. How will you spend your time today?

No licenses or seminary or medical training is required—just do what God says. God is always right. With Him nothing is impossible.

What is your outlook for the future? How far ahead are you willing to look and set a goal? It might make a difference in how long you live.

What are you doing to bring people to your church and to the Kingdom of God? That’s the most important recruiting that any of us can do.

Catching fish is important, but being a fisherman of people as Jesus invited us to be, brings the greatest joy and motivation for fishing tomorrow. Be a good fisherman today.

Have you lost anything recently that you need to devote time and energy to recovering—maybe an expectant hope, a precious memory, a strong moral compass—if it’s something important, find it.

You have a great opportunity to be the salt of the earth and to bring light to a dark world. Let your light shine!
